My nails are four feet long and covered in cute charms – there’s always a question everyone wants to know
WHILST some beauty buffs prefer a more natural manicure, others love to go all out – and now one woman has left everyone with their jaws of the floor after showing off her mega long nails.
According to the beauty lover Maryah, her monster nails are a whopping four feet long – or the same height as her torso.
The mum-of-five took to TikTok to answer any burning questions[/caption] According to the beauty lover, her sister is there to help her keep the mega nails nice and tidy[/caption]As bizarre as the current set may look, Maryah, thought to be from the US, revealed that the ridiculously long nails are also covered in tiny charms – a whopping 156 in total.
Some of these, she recently demonstrated in a now-viral video, included adorable lilac flowers, cute bunnies, pieces of candy and more.
Whilst mortified TikTok users may assume that the mega nails are too heavy and mammoth to function with, Maryah reassured everyone that this wasn’t the case.
”A lot of people ask me if my nails are heavy and how I work with them.
”But honestly, once you start wearing them you gain all this finger muscle and it doesn’t feel heavy at all.”
The monster set, which is her longest one yet, has taken the web by storm, leaving thousands of viewers all wondering about the same thing – how does Maryah clean herself after using the loo.
”Another question I get often is how I wipe my a**. Y’all act like nail cleaning brushes and soap don’t exist,” the beauty lover hit back, showing how she gave the mega nails and the dozens of charms a good clean in the kitchen sink.
”Plus, having long nails is worth the hassle. I can use a bidet and when I make a mess, my sister doesn’t mind helping and clean my nails – like any good sister would do.”
In the clip, which has taken the platform by storm with over 1.2million views, Maryah confessed that if there’s something she struggles with because of the nails, she will ”ask for somebody for help”.
What’s more, the mum-of-five said, if she can manage to look after her four kids and a newborn ”with these nails”, there’s not much she would find impossible.
For those keen to get their hands on a similar set, the parent warned they should be willing to fork out ”thousands”, as ”its so much product and work”.
That doesn’t mean there haven’t been any mishaps though – and whipping up a feast with dozens of charms glued to her nails is not always safe.
Maryah said: ”Yeah, my family might find a nail charm in their dinner every once in a while – but oh well, at least I’m cooking.”
What age can you take kid to get their nails done?
MUMS have sparked controversy after allowing their kids to get acrylic nails. But just how old do they have to be to be allowed to get them done legally.
According to the National Occupational Standards, anyone under the age of 16 has to be accompanied by an adult.
They also need written consent from a parents or guardian.
It’s also a good idea to check that the salon you’re planning to go to – just to ask if they offer services to children.
But whilst the mum may be all chuffed with her baby pink nails, the set didn’t really go down a treat amongst fellow social media users who were horrified.
”We listen and we judging,” wrote one person.
”it comes to a point,” chimed in another who reckoned she had gone overboard.
”It’s like Edward Scissorhands but cute,” said a person who was quite fond of the monster mani.
”Wow you are classy,” added a fourth.
