Demi Moore Had a Proud Grandma Moment While Gushing About What Baby Lou Calls Her at the Golden Globes
The 2025 Golden Globes are a huge night for Demi Moore who is celebrating a nomination for her role in The Substance but the superstar actress still took some time to gush about being a grandmother on the red carpet.
While speaking to Entertainment Tonight’s Rachel Smith, Moore opened up about being a grandmother to her daughter Rumer Willis‘ baby girl Louetta. Moore, 62, told Smith that Lou calls her “Yaya,” the Greek word for grandmother.
Moore might be the star of the night with a nomination for Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy but she said her kids and granddaughter are what keep her sane.
“Ultimately that is what’s most important because all of this without that would be not quite as rich or as sweet but the balance of it is perfection,” Moore said.
Moore first revealed her sweet grandmother nickname during a September appearance on Today where she also revealed how much she’s loving this new chapter.
“To me, this is the most exciting time of my life,” she said. “My children are grown. I have the most independence and autonomy to really redefine where I want to go,” Moore added. “I don’t know what that looks like or where it is, but I’m just excited to be living in it.”
Rumer, Moore’s oldest daughter, welcomed Louetta Isley then-boyfriend Derek Richard Thomas in on April 18, 2023.
Moore shares three daughters, Rumer, 36, Scout, 33, and Tallulah, 30, with ex-husband Bruce Willis to whom she was married from 1987 until 1998.
