Titans secure the right to draft Shedeur Sanders No. 1 overall, if they so choose
Now that the dust has settled from the early window of Sunday’s NFL games, we have a better idea of the order of the 2025 NFL Draft and it’s the Tennessee Titans who ended up with the No. 1 pick.
Tennessee will be followed by the Cleveland Browns and New York Giants in the top three. The New England Patriots, who entered Week 18 in the No. 1 spot, slid to No. 4 after defeating the Buffalo Bills in their finale. The Jacksonville Jaguars round out the top five after losing to the Colts.
2025 NFL Draft top 5
- Titans (3-14)
- Browns (3-14)
- Giants (3-14)
- Patriots (4-13)
- Jaguars (4-13)
With the Titans now on the clock, the question becomes how satisfied they are with Will Levis as their potential quarterback of the future and whether they view any of the draft prospects as worthy replacements at No. 1.
Shedeur Sanders has been the favorite to go No. 1 at BetMGM since at least the beginning of December. He had -125 odds earlier in the week, though the sportsbook doesn’t have odds listed with Sunday’s action still underway. Sanders was followed by Cam Ward (+165) and Heisman winner Travis Hunter (+500). Other books with odds still active have the same top three.
2025 NFL Draft no. 1 pick odds (FanDuel)
- QB Shedeur Sanders, Colorado (-150)
- QB Cam Ward, Miami (+125)
- WR/CB Travis Hunter, Colorado (+600)
- OT Will Campbell, LSU (+4000)
- OT Kelvin Banks Jr., Texas (+5000)
- DE Mykel Williams, Georgia (+5000)
- DT Mason Graham, Michigan (+5000)
A 2023 second-round pick, Levis hasn’t flashed the type of potential needed to guarantee the Titans don’t go quarterback, though the potential of a trade can’t be dismissed either.
