'I'd rather stick needles in my eyes': Melania Trump movie news gets brutal response
It was recently reported that Amazon is putting out a Melania Trump documentary, but many onlookers are looking forward to skipping it.
The Wall Street Journal is among the news outlets that on Sunday reported that Amazon's Prime Video streaming service has officially "licensed what it said was a documentary about former and future first lady Melania Trump." The project is expected to be released in the second half of 2025, according to the report.
The news was met in large part with ridicule.

"How about you?" Cooper then asked.
Self-described "political junkie" Russell Drew said, "Melania Trump’s life will be listed under fiction or the adults-only section."
"She’s really not all that interesting. She was a model who married a rich guy 25 years her senior. I don’t really care, do you?" Drew added.
The Intellectualist noted that, "The film’s director has been accused of sexual assault by multiple Hollywood figures."
Former prosecutor Ron Filipkowski asked, "Melania in her Amazon life story movie?"
Novelist and playwright Paul Rudnick, whose plays have been produced on and off Broadway, said, "Melania is executive producing a documentary on her life for Amazon."
The writer then joked that the film "will include scenes of her: - Getting into limos - Narrowing her eyes - Giving a poor person all of Ivanka's clothes - Being greeted with a musical number at Deutsche Bank - Almost reading a book."
