‘Some players are getting on a bit.. they need to go’ – Luke Littler offers savage verdict on his beloved Man Utd
LUKE LITTLER shared his ruthless verdict on what needs to be done to turn things around at his beloved Manchester United.
The darts sensation is a huge football fan and can often be found playing Fifa or tuning into Red Devils matches in his spare time.
The darts star spoke of moving on certain players[/caption]He has wound up rival fans in the past and even met the United squad last year – which he revealed was one of his career highlights.
And like every passionate fan the newly-crowned world champion is not short of opinions when it comes to his club.
Asked what needs to be done, Littler told the BBC: “No idea. Well, we’ve all got an idea.
“The players. There are some players at the club that are getting on a bit. They need to go and play somewhere else.
“And we need to find the right players to fit in the squad.”
United have lost four consecutive managers under new boss Ruben Amorim.
They are 14th in the Premier League despite splashing around £270million in the summer and sacking Erik ten Hag.
It is not clear whether United are planning to ship players out like Littler wants, although Marcus Rashford has been tipped to leave.
