‘We’re having lots of fun and sex’ reveals Towie’s Sophie Kasaei as pair try to get pregnant amid fertility battle
TOWIE’s Sophie Kasaei has revealed what her and her partner Jordan Brook have been getting up to recently – in the bedroom.
Speaking exclusively to The Sun the couple addressed their desire to start a family, admitting that while they are looking into adoption this year, they were also making lots of time for each other.
The Geordie Shore star said: “For now we are having fun and a lot of sex! That is how babies are made!”
The pair, who star together on the ITVBe reality series The Only Way is Essex, have been open about their fertility struggles in the past.
And while she said the path to parenthood hadn’t been easy, they were making sure they were enjoying each other and their time together along the way.
Sophie, who started her TV career on Geordie Shore back in 2011 has been dating Essex-based men’s hairdresser Jordan since 2022.
Speaking to The Sun Sophie said: “It was tough (last series). To go through what me and Jordan have gone through together is tough, and it does put a strain on everything when you want something so bad.”
Jordan agreed commenting: “You are both fighting for something so much… you lose sight of what you’ve actually got.”
“You are so fixated on something that doesn’t exist – like a baby – we still are. That is not changing.”
The pair also admitted that opening up about their fertility struggles in the public eye had been hard, especially when strangers asked them about it.
Sophie said: “If I go to the local shop people are like: “How is the
baby making going?”
“Or the other day on my birthday this lady came up to us: ‘I know your story…’ and she said: ‘this is my baby, it can happen.”
The couple, who have been together for almost two and a half years, admitted they have learnt so much about each other during their fertility journey.
“Now we really know deeply how to help each other through it,” said. Jordan. “Now we are a proper team. I know how to help Soph and she really knows how to help me.”
The duo also admitted that the journey had brought them closer together and their combined love of family made them tick: “Me and Jord love family and our whole lives are based around our families.
That is what makes us happy,” said Sophie.
And while they acknowledged it was great that their journey had helped other women talk about their own struggles openly, they said it could be harder to handle behind the scenes.
“You can never really park it,” said Jordan.
“When people say: ‘Just relax, it’ll happen… that is the worst thing you can say to a couple going through fertility,” said Sophie.
“It is the worst. It will happen and we know it will happen.”
