Austin furniture store closing down Ben White location on Jan. 31

AUSTIN (KXAN) -- Couch Potatoes' south Austin location at 500 East Ben White Boulevard is set to close on Jan. 31, according to the company's website.
"We're closing down our south Austin location as part of a strategic decision to adapt to the evolving retail landscape in Austin," Couch Potatoes' website said.
As a result of the closure, the company said it will have a sale on all its inventory at the location. The store is open on Monday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and on Sunday from noon to 5 p.m.
This comes after the company on August 30 opened its north Austin location, which featured a full furniture factory inside a 100,000-foot retail store.
