Man injured in Halfmoon shooting, investigation ongoing

HALFMOON, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- Saratoga County Sheriff's Office is investigating a shooting on Route 146 in Halfmoon. Law enforcement said one person is being treated at Albany Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
Deputies said the shooting happened at 44 Route 146 at 11:04 a.m. on Saturday. The shooting occurred between two people known to each other, and witness accounts helped law enforcement locate the suspect's vehicle.
Deputies stopped the car that witnesses described on Route 146 in Clifton Park. Deputies took the shooter into custody without incident, and the investigation remains ongoing.
