Striker on a ‘collision course’ with club as Spurs offer ‘important competition’
Tottenham Hotspur continue to be named as one of the leading contenders to sign a French international, who has been struggling for game time this season.
Spurs turn to big-name to solve striker issues
Richarlison’s ongoing injury woes have meant that summer signing, Dominic Solanke, has lacked competition for his place in the Tottenham side and Ange Postecoglou has been unable to rotate the Englishman.
Over the last couple of weeks, multiple outlets have reported that Spurs could solve that issue by making a move for Paris Saint-Germain Randal Kolo Muani this month.
In fact, it has even been reported that the Tottenham have already contacted Kolo Muani’s representatives over a potential transfer to N17.
Spurs offering competition to European giants for Randal Kolo Muani
SportItalia have now offered an update on the PSG man’s future, revealing that the striker is now on a ‘collision course’ with his club, presumably about his lack of game time.
They claim that Juventus are watching with ‘keen interest’ and are ready to pounce for the 26-year-old if he becomes available.
However, the Bianconeri face ‘important competition’ from Tottenham, who are very much in the race to sign the striker, with the Lilywhites said to ‘have made moves’ already over a deal for the former Eintracht Frankfurt man.
Kolo Muani would be a huge coup for Spurs
Not only can Kolo Munai play across the frontline, offering Postecoglou a lot of options, but his energy would also elevate this Spurs side, who are reliant on their forwards to press incessantly off the ball.
If Tottenham can secure the Frenchman on loan with an option to buy that would be a huge coup and could potentially solve their issues in the forward line for the time being.
However, it will not be an easy deal to do as one would expect clubs across Europe to be vying for the 26-year-old’s signature.
