George Clooney’s New Role Will Allegedly Put His & Amal’s Family Dynamic to the Test in 2025
It seems 2025 will be a rather “challenging” year for George Clooney, Amal Clooney, and their family of four. While George gears up to do a six-month stint on Broadway to star in Good Night, and Good Luck, insiders allege he, and his family are gearing up for a long separation.
In case you missed it, insiders told Life and Style Magazine that the family is gearing up for this major, temporary change, and it may make everything difficult for a bit.
“George has never done Broadway before, and he’s thrilled about the opportunity, but between rehearsals and performances, it means he will spend six months in NYC,” insiders told the outlet. “Amal is going to remain in France, where their two children are settled in — and there’s no denying this is going to test their 10-year marriage.”
They added, “They’re going to stay in touch over FaceTime and text. George will be able to speak to the kids every night before bedtime, taking the time difference into consideration. And Amal might be able to fly out for the occasional weekend visit.”
While it seems like they have a good plan in place for this change, insiders did note that being away for an extended amount of time has greatly affected them in the past, saying, “It didn’t do the marriage much good. So spending so much time apart is bound to be challenging.”
For those that don’t know, George and Amal Alamuddin, a prominent human rights lawyer, met back in 2013 through a mutual friend, and by the following year, they married! They later welcomed twins on June 6, 2017, named Ella and Alexander, 7.
Back in 2016, George even talked about how he and Amal stay so connected during time apart, crediting their successful marriage to FaceTime. “FaceTime, we’ll do that. Mostly it’s just try not to go very long … We spend an awful lot of time together. We try not to have these huge gaps. We’re able to manage, so far, between my work and her work and the things we’re doing; we’re able to manage it pretty well,” he said in an interview with ExtraTV.
