FanDuel Sets Mets Over/Under at 91.5 Wins
The Mets over/under was released on FanDuel back in December.
The betting site set the Mets over/under win total at 91.5, placing them behind the Phillies and Braves.
The win total comes after and electric and on going off season. The Mets signed Juan Soto away from the Yankees, along with re-signing Sean Manaea and adding rotation depth.
The total, while high, sits behind division rivals Philadelphia and Atlanta. The Phils have been awarded an over/under total of 92.5, and the Braves at 94.5.
Still, the line set for 2025 is a massive improvement over 2024. Last season, the Mets were set 82.5 wins after expectations were set for a lost season.
Of course, the Mets blew past that total with 89 wins and made the postseason behind the best record in the majors past June.
This season, it may be wise to lock in the over before the Mets season. The club is still favored for a reunion with Pete Alonso, and could shore up the bullpen leading up to Edwin Díaz.
