Aston Villa ready to challenge Spurs and co for exciting French forward
According to the latest update from France, the race for one Tottenham Hotspur target is now intensifying, with Aston Villa becoming the latest club to enter the equation.
French star expected to leave Paris Saint-Germain
Randal Kolo Muani has fallen down Luis Enrique’s pecking order this season and is struggling to get starts under his belt in Paris.
It has been widely reported over the last week that the French international is now seeking to leave the Ligue 1 club in January in search of regular game time, with Tottenham alleged to have made contact regarding a deal for the striker.
Some other sources over recent days have suggested that Chelsea are also well-placed in the battle to land the 26-year-old.
Aston Villa enter race for Randal Kolo Muani
According to an update by L’Equipe (as relayed by GFFN), Aston Villa have become the latest Premier League side to join the queue for Kolo Muani‘s signature, with the Villans said to be keen on securing the versatile forward’s services.
The report makes no mention of Chelsea, instead naming Tottenham and Man Utd as the other two English clubs circling over the Les Blues star.
Additionally, AC Milan and Juventus have also allegedly enquired about the former Eintracht Frankfurt star, while Bayern Munich and RB Leipzig are watching the situation.
Where is Kolo Muani likely to end up?
The report suggests that the Bundesliga rather than the Premier League is Kolo Munai’s most likely destination in the January window.
According to the update, PSG are of the belief that they can raise €60m (£50m) from the striker’s sale this month.
However, it is explained that the French club would be willing to sanction a loan deal with an option to make it permanent in the summer.
