But now, Chloe, who works as a bakery manager at the family’s Radford Pie Company, has revealed all on her second pregnancy – from feeling ‘tired’ and ‘drained’ to ‘really emotional’ and ‘guilty’.
Posting on social media, Chloe, who gave birth to her first child on July 23, 2022, confirmed: “I am 22 weeks pregnant so I thought let’s do a pregnancy update/toddler update and how I’m doing whilst I get ready for my flu jab.”
Chloe, who is the third oldest Radford child, then added: “So firstly, morning sickness is completely gone.
“I haven’t been sick in a good while now, which is a relief because morning sickness this time around was definitely a lot worse.”
Chloe then stood up, lifted up her top and down her leggings, showing off her baby bump, as she continued: “I feel like I’m definitely getting bigger.
“I know some people will probably think quite small for 22 weeks, but I am quite petite, so it’s big to me.”
The brunette beauty, who began her relationship with her partner Jacob in 2021, continued: “I get tired walking up the stairs already.
“I can’t lie, I’m definitely doing my make-up a lot more because I feel really, really c****y in myself. Really c****y, so I feel like I’m just trying to make a bit more of an effort, just to make myself feel a bit awake, bit more alive.
“It is tiring and it is draining being pregnant.
“We’ve got the other 20 week scan this Friday just because she couldn’t get one of his spine measurements at our first 20 week scan.
“I have an anterior placenta, which I had with Mila.

Mila’s meltdowns
With a lump in her throat, Chloe then explained that her daughter Mila is going through a ‘meltdown’ and ‘tantrum’ phase.
She shared: “So this next part I’m gonna try and get through without crying because apparently when I’m pregnant with a boy, everything makes me want to cry and I am just so hormonal and just so emotional.
“So for anyone new here or maybe doesn’t know, me and my partner have a two and a half year old little girl who is just incredible. She is an amazing little girl.
It’s making me feel really, really guilty that obviously, in a few months, she is not going to be an only child

“And recently, it’s all normal behaviour but she’s just started to have really, really big feelings, a lot of meltdowns, tantrums, and I know all of these feelings are really normal but I am just starting to feel really guilty about having another baby when she is obviously going through a phase in her life where she is very clingy to me.
“She is obviously needing a lot of our time and attention to help her deal with these big feelings and it’s making me feel really, really guilty that obviously, in a few months, she is not going to be an only child and it is just gonna be a little bit harder to give her that complete, undivided attention.
“I bet most mums who are pregnant with a second or were pregnant with a second probably felt like this, but it’s just really difficult. It’s making me feel really, really emotional.”
Feeling guilty
As a result, she opened up on “feeling guilty”, as she confessed: “I just feel like crying all the time, just from feeling so guilty that she obviously just needs her mummy and daddy a lot at the minute.
“We’re not due until the beginning of May, so hopefully we’ve got a few months to deal with this and support her and hopefully she will be okay.
“I have absolutely no doubt about it that she is going to be an incredible big sister, but that just doesn’t stop us from feeling really guilty, does it?”
How does family-of-22 the Radfords afford to live?
AS Britain’s biggest family, it may come as no surprise that Sue and Noel Radford must have some hefty bills.
Between them, they have a whopping 22 children and seven dogs, which often has some people wonder how they manage their money.
The Radfords support themselves with the proceeds of Noel’s bakery, The Radford Pie Company, which is located near their home.
On their website, it says: “We have owned our own lovely bakery since 1999 which is how we manage to provide for (and feed) our huge and expanding family as well as for the local people of Heysham and Morecambe.”
The family expanded their business to cater to online orders placed across the UK.
The business is a family affair, with Noel at the helm, and some of their children helping out.
The older kids, who are working at least part-time, don’t get a free ride as they’re made to pay a small amount of rent to their parents.
“Us older ones do pay a little bit of board. Granted it’s not a lot but I’m also trying to save up for my own house at the moment.” their daughter Chloe said in a video on the YouTube channel.
Sue added: “We’ve always said if you want to buy somewhere, renting is a bit of dead money, so we’d rather you saved that money up and stayed at home a bit longer.
“I also do believe they should pay board if they are earning. We’ve always been brought up by our parents that we had to pay board.”
Noel and Sue famously don’t rely on benefits for their bumper brood and live off their pie shop for income.
They also revealed they make money from brand partnerships on social media.
The Radford family stars in their own reality TV show 22 Kids and Counting – which has run for four series.
Brand expert Andy Barr believes Noel and Sue have been paid less than £10,000 for each show.
He told the Daily Mail: “The typical fee per episode is going to be in the thousands rather than the tens or hundreds of thousands that people often think is the case with TV shows of this nature.
“If they continue to get commissioned for a fourth or fifth season, then they are going to be able to command a higher fee.”
He estimates that the Radfords make £ 5,000 an episode.
Chloe also opened up on “challenging nights” with her daughter Mila, as she recognised: “We used to be able to put it down at 6pm, say ‘goodnight, love you’, and she would just go to sleep, but that is not the case anymore.
“She just wants us to lay with her, which is fine, but some nights are definitely more challenging than others. Last night was really challenging.
“She wouldn’t go to sleep, I’ve never seen her have a meltdown in the way that she did and it was really distressing to watch to be honest.
“I think it’s getting to me a little bit more as well with being pregnant and the hormones and everything, but we will get there.”
Chosen the baby name
With not long to go until the end of her pregnancy, Chloe beamed: “It’s mad to think that between 15 and 20 weeks now, he will be here. It’s not long to go now.
Jake picked Mila’s name and then I came up with baby boy’s and we both love it

“Really excited, but also, I feel like it’s going so fast. And it’s really creeping up on us. We need to get cracking and get a move on.”
Before the end of her clip, Chloe shared another big update for fans – she has already chosen the name for her baby boy, who will be Noel and Sue’s 16th grandchild.

“Jake picked Mila’s name and then I came up with baby boy’s and we both love it.
“But, yeah, getting excited. Just a lot of feelings going on right now.”
Radford fans react
Chloe posted her clip on her official TikTok account @itschloexa, and it has quickly racked up 127,500 views.
Fans flocked to the comments, eager to share their motherhood and pregnancy stories.
One person said: “I’ve just had baby number two with her big sister being 22 months and I sobbed about having another baby and the guilt however big sister loves her new little sister!
“And she is also going through the terrible twos and it just so happened to come at the same time as a new baby! You’ve got this.”
Another added: “I’m pregnant with my fourth boy, and oh my goodness we could have sworn it was a girl. I’m with you on the sickness this time round has been the worst, you are glowing.”
Whilst a third commented: “Everything felt worse when I had my son. I had my girl first, things were ok, with my boy, my words were ‘never again’.”
