Allstate CEO Lectures Sugar Bowl Viewers About “Accepting People’s Imperfections and Differences” After Deadly New Orleans Terror Attack
Allstate CEO Tom Wilson delivered a tone-deaf message to viewers tuning into the Sugar Bowl on Thursday night.
The game was rescheduled from New Year’s Day following the New Year’s Eve terror attack in New Orleans that left at least 14 people dead and at least 35 injured.
Before the game, which is sponsored by Allstate, Wilson lectured viewers on ” overcoming an addiction to divisiveness and negativity.”
He also suggested we “accept people’s imperfections and differences.”
Welcome to the Allstate Sugar Bowl. Wednesday, tragedy struck the New Orleans community.
Our prayers are with the victims and their families.
We also need to be stronger together by overcoming an addiction to divisiveness and negativity.
Join Allstate working in local communities all across America to amplify the positive, increase trust, and accept people’s imperfections and differences.
Together, we win.

Turned on the Notre Dame – Georgia game for it to start with this ridiculous propaganda from @Allstate on yesterday’s terrorist attack:
“We need to overcome an addiction to divisiveness and negativity… & accept people’s imperfections and differences”??!!!

His message was not well received by Americans who consider a terror attack to be more than an “imperfection.”
A jihadist attacked and injured dozens of innocent Americans in a hate-fueled rampage, and the Allstate CEO uses the Sugar Bowl to lecture viewers on “overcoming an addiction to divisiveness and negativity”?

I have a feeling Allstate is about to become the next Bud Light.
Allstate should be placed as a single word description for tone deaf. pic.twitter.com/bt0pFhrTH5

I don’t know if I’ve seen a worse corporate PR statement in my life. Instead of taking a stand against terrorism, @Allstate chose to make their statement about “imperfections and divisiveness”. Another brand destroyed by woke liberals
