Team News: St Johnstone (A)
David Gray has named his side to face St Johnstone this afternoon, which includes one change from the weekend.
The Hibees are looking to start the New Year as we finished 2024. We come into this one off the back of four straight wins in the league, which has seen us steadily move up the Premiership table.
Gray has made one alteration to the side that beat Kilmarnock 1-0 last time out, with Hyeokkyu Kwon replacing Joe Newell in the middle of the pitch. The Hibs captain is unavailable for this one due to a knock he picked up against Kilmarnock.
The rest of the starting XI is unchanged, with Jordan Smith keeping his place in the team behind a back three of Lewis Miller, Rocky Bushiri and Jack Iredale.
The Cadden brothers keep their place on either flank – Chris on the right and Nicky on the left – with Kwon, Triantis and Josh Campbell in the middle of the pitch.
Junior Hoilett and Martin Boyle lead the line for the Hibees, with Martin Boyle captaining the Hibees this afternoon.
On the bench, Gray has several options to choose from with Warren O’Hora, Dylan Levitt, Luke Amos, Nathan Moriah-Welsh, Harry McKirdy, Dwight Gayle and Jordan Obita all named among the substitutes.
Rudi Molotnikov is also back in the matchday squad. The 18-year-old signed a long-term deal with the Club at the end of 2024 and is included on the bench this afternoon.
Joe Newell, Marvin Ekpiteta, Elie Youan, Kieron Bowie and Mykola Kuharevich all miss this one due to injury.
