Hudson Falls man arrested on gun possession charges after dispute
ARGYLE, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- A Hudson Falls man was arrested on gun possession charges after a dispute at an Argyle home. Denzil Nanton, 30, faces multiple charges.
On December 26, around 9:09 p.m., troopers responded to a home in Argyle for reports of a dispute. After investigating the incident, state police determined Nanton allegedly pushed multiple people in the house, one of which was reportedly holding a child.
According to troopers, after further investigation, they reportedly discovered an illegal handgun charged with an illegal high-capacity magazine in Nanton's possession. He was arrested and charged with criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree; criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree; and endangering the welfare of a child.
Nanton was transported to State Police barracks in Greenwich for processing. He was then turned over to the Washington County Correctional Facility to await arraignment.
