Zara culottes
Kate stepped out in a gorgeous pair of green culottes from Zara in 2020.
The Princess had nabbed the pair for a visit to SportsAid, which came in handy for the sport engagement.
The royal rolled her sleeves up and joined in the athletics activities with ease.
She’d paired the trousers with a fitted top from Mango and a pair of Marks and Spencer trainers.
Plenty of fans were racing to secure a pair for just £25.99, which were a sale purchase that had already sold out.
ASOS hoops
Jewellery lovers were quick to spot Kate’s gorgeous gold hoops during her 2021 visit to the launch of the ‘Taking Action on Addiction’ campaign.
The royal had previously worn the 14k plated twist hoop earrings while attending the reopening of the Victoria & Albert Museum in May 2021.
Kate Middleton's love of recycling clothes
KATE Middleton might be a Princess, but that certainly doesn't stop her from rewearing her favourite frocks.
Jenny Packham Gown: She first worn the frock to an ARK Gala Dinner in June 2011, and then rewore it three years later to the National Portrait Gallery in February 2014.
Alexander McQueen Coat Dress: Kate donned the beautiful number for Trooping the Colour in June 2016 and then just a year later, was spotted in it again for the Easter Service, in April 2017.
Temperley London Dress: She first wore the black lace dress at the War Horse Premiere, in January 2012, but then, just months later, donned it again, at the St. Andrews University Gala, in December 2012.
Hobbs Coat: Even Kate is a fan of a staple coat, as she’s reworn a classic number from Hobbs, which she first wore on Christmas Day in December 2012, and then again on a visit to Newcastle, in October 2013.
Kate Middleton’s sartorial choices continue to inspire many, proving that elegance and sustainability can go hand in hand.
Incredibly, the stylish twisted earrings cost just £10 from online fashion retailer ASOS.
Accessorize earrings
Keeping on the accessories trend, Kate wore a beautifully ornate pair of earrings to her visit to the RHS Back to Nature garden.
The pink ‘Polly Petal’ drop earrings featured a gold finish and gave an extra feminine touch to her outfit.
The dainty jewellery cost just £8, and were snapped up in no time.
Warehouse top
In 2023, Kate attended The Natural History Museum, looking smart and sophisticated in a gorgeous berry-coloured scallop neck sweater from Warehouse.
The jumper was just £39 at the time – considerably less than some of the Princess’ other tops.
The style icon paired the jumper with a pair of green culottes – again proving her fond feelings for the smart-casual style of trouser.
What is Princess Kate's signature fashion style?
WHEN it comes to dressing for public engagements Princess Kate has formulated a highly successful signature style, according to fashion expert Amber Graafland
The princess knows exactly what styles flatter her figure and while she may mix her favourite designers with the odd bit of high street, the basic principles remain the same.
The biggest benefit of this confident approach is that it allows her to recycle outfits. Kate is often seen re-wearing bespoke outfits by go-to designers McQueen, Ellis Saab and Jenny Packham.
The other huge plus side is that it has allowed her to amass an impressive handbag collection.
While the exact grand total has never been revealed, it is estimated that Kate owns at least 110 styles.
For most mere mortals that sounds like a huge amount, but if you consider that the princess attends upwards of 100 public engagements a year, it’s not actually that ridiculous.
Kate’s collection includes styles by Jimmy Choo, Prada, McQueen, Chanel, Asprey, Aspinal of London and Ellie Saab to name but a few.
