Zara McDermott reveals the Charlotte Tilbury lipstick dupe she uses daily and you can get it in Boots for under a tenner
BEAUTY buffs will be familiar with the iconic lip shade Pillow Talk from Charlotte Tilbury’s cult collection.
They’ll also be aware of the hefty price tag that comes along with any of the universally-flattering Pillow Talk products.
Which is why so many of us keep an eye out for a suitable, pocket-friendlier dupe.
And it turns out even our fave glam celebs like a cheaper alternative to achieve the perfect pout.
Reality TV star Zara McDermott revealed her favourite substitute lip combo to her 2 million followers – and you’d never be able to tell she isn’t wearing the real thing.
Glamorous Zara captioned her post: ” ‘Loads of people asking about the lip colour, sorry it’s smudged a bit, it’s not the best but I did a quick car job.
“I’m loving the darker liner and lighter centre atm on the lip!”
L’Oreal Paris Color Riche Intense Matte Lipstick, £9.99 at Boots
Zara told fans she was wearing the L’Oreal Paris Color Riche Intense Matte Lipstick in shade ‘Worth It’ (570) which costs just £9.99 in Boots.
L’Oreal Paris Color Riche Lip Liner, £6.99 at Boots
She’d outlined the lip look with L’Oreal Paris Color Riche lip liner in shade Cristal Cappuccino (362) which costs £6.99 in Boots.
She added: “Btw the L’Oreal Worth It lippies are an amazing dupe for Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk.”
The L’Oreal lipstick clocks in at a mega £18 cheaper than the original Pillow Talk version, making it much budget-friendlier.
Customers online have gone wild for the cheaper alternative, which boasts up to 16 hour wear and is ‘infused with hyaluronic acid, to keep lips feeling moisturised all day’.
The volumizing lipstick promises to give you ‘plumper looking lips with a transfer-resistant matte finish’.
One happy shopper left a review on the Boots website saying: “Better than CT Pillow Talk. Stays put and so beautiful. Try it.”
Another person loved the ‘perfect quality’ of the product.
And another customer said: “Love it. Lasts all day on my lips, really worth the money.”

REAL: Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Lipstick, £28 DUPE: L’Oreal Paris Color Riche Satin Lipstick Beige A Nu, £8.99. The shades of these two lipsticks are virtually identical on the lips, although while Charlotte Tilbury’s is matte, the L’Oreal Paris Lipstick has a satin finish – which actually makes it more comfortable if you’re wearing all day.
REAL: Estée Lauder Double Wear Foundation, £40 DUPE: Collection Lasting Perfection Matte Foundation, £6.99. While they don’t look alike from the outside, the formula, consistency and staying power of both foundations is pretty similar – unfortunately, the Collection only comes in 20 shades vs Estee Lauder’s 60 options.
REAL: Glossier Boy Brow, £20 DUPE: Essence Make Me Brow Gel, £2.50. There’s a whole Reddit thread dedicated to this dupe, so you know it’s got to be good. They both have a waxy consistency and added fibres to make brows look fuller. I have to say, the shade range is far better with Boy Brow, but if you’re brunette, there’s plenty of Essence shade options to try.

The 4.5 star rating shows Zara isn’t the only one who is happy with the product.
And it’s a bit of retail therapy she deserves, as yesterday it was reported the well-known TV face had split from boyfriend-of-five-years Sam Thompson.
A source close to the couple told MailOnline: “Sam and Zara have ended their relationship. It’s been an incredibly difficult decision for them to part ways, they still care and have a lot of love for each other.
“But after a tough year of working hard at their romance, they have split and will be focusing on their individual careers going forward into 2025.
“There has been no scandal or fallout between them, it’s just the result of a difficult year, where they both had to spend a lot of time focused on their own projects.”
