Fox News host confronts ex-official about Trump being ‘slightly annoyed’ with Elon Musk
Former White House Deputy Press Secretary Hogan Gidley insisted that Donald Trump continued to have a "good relationship" with Elon Musk after Fox News host Jonathan Hunt suggested that the president-elect had become "slightly annoyed" with his attention-seeking billionaire friend.
During a Monday interview on Fox News, Hunt asked Gidley about reports that Trump was tiring of Musk.
"There are some reports bubbling, Hogan, one from Mediaite today, that President-elect Trump might be getting slightly annoyed with the attention that Elon Musk commands via X obviously, uh, and that he may be getting a little tired of that," the Fox News host noted.
"Oh, look, it's obvious that Elon Musk, Vivek Ramaswamy, and others have good relationships," Gidley said. "With Donald Trump, the media like to stir things up and try and create rifts where there aren't any rifts."
"Donald Trump has tasked Elon Musk with a big job, and that's finding a lot of the fraud, waste, and abuse in the federal government," he continued. "Billions, trillions are wasted every single year."

"You have to find those things and expose them. Remember, this administration isn't going to just be about exposing things."
Gidley insisted Musk was not in charge.
"Donald Trump's the leader here," he said. "He's got the team around him to do it, and they're all his friends."
