CDTA offering free New Year's Eve rides
ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA) is offering free rides on New Year's Eve as a part of the STOP DWI efforts. The free rides will run from 8 p.m. on New Year's Eve until 2 a.m. on New Year's Day.
No Northway Xpress or Thruway Xpress commuter services will be available on New Year's Day. The CDTA Sales window will also be closed on Wednesday.
Anyone with questions about the holiday services can call CDTA’s Customer Service Center at (518) 482-8822. The customer service representatives are available from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. on weekdays, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturdays, and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sundays and holidays.
