Fort Plain man charged with felony against a minor
FORT PLAIN, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- Montgomery County Sheriff's Office arrested a Fort Plain man on Friday for allegedly engaging in inappropriate conversations with a young girl. Deputies said Ryan P. Santore, 33, is facing multiple charges.
Deputies said Santore and the young girl spoke through different social media platforms for a year and eventually began meeting in person. Deputies added Santore sold the minor cannabis in addition to inappropriate contact.
Mohawk Town Court arraigned Santore, and he remains in Montgomery County Jail in place of bail. He is scheduled to appear again in Mohawk Town Court later and in Minden Town Court for three separate charges within that jurisdiction.
