Vees trade defenceman Okitundu to Alberni Valley

Penticton, B.C. – The Penticton Vees Hockey Club has traded 2004-born defenceman Cédricson Okitundu to the Alberni Valley Bulldogs, in exchange for future considerations, the team announced Friday.
Okitundu, 20, played 16 games for the Vees, collecting two assists to go along with four penalty minutes. The Ottawa, Ontario, product signed with the team in October after starting the 2024-25 season in the Western Hockey League with the Prince Albert Raiders.
With today’s move, the Vees’ roster sits at 24: three goalies, nine defenceman, and 12 forwards.
The Vees are back from the Christmas break with a pair of home games this weekend at the South Okanagan Events Centre (SOEC). Penticton hosts the Blackfalds Bulldogs on Saturday, December 28th, at 6:00 pm, and the Okotoks Oilers on Sunday, December 29th, at 4:00 pm. Tickets are $18 for adults.
