Tottenham are interested in signing Randal Kolo Muani from PSG
Tottenham Hotspur are eyeing a sensational move for Randal Kolo Muani from PSG who is now available on loan in January.
26-year-old expected to leave PSG in January
Randal Kolo Muani has struggled to make the expected impact since his move to Paris Saint-Germain 18 months ago.
The striker has only scored 11 times in 54 appearances for the Parisians so far and he has struggled to get game time this season.
It has now emerged that the 25-year-old is seeking an exit route from the French capital, with PSG expected to oblige by loaning him out.
Tottenham showing interest in Randal Kolo Muani
This update comes from Florian Plettenberg, who has taken to social media to reveal that PSG are currently holding talks over loaning out the centre forward.
He explains that the Ligue 1 giants want to add an obligation to buy with the deal, with the Premier League emerging as Kolo Muani‘s most likely destination.
He names Tottenham, RB Leipzig and Manchester United as the three clubs who are keen on the France international and adds that Liverpool have also gathered information about the player.
Would Kolo Muani be a good fit for Spurs?
Postecoglou might want to sign a versatile forward who can play across the frontline and Kolo Muani does fit that bill.
However, the Frenchman is more of a centre-forward than a wide player and is not particularly effective when he plays on the flank.
One can argue that what Spurs need upfront is a winger who is adept at running with the ball and beating players, with the likes of Timo Werner and Brennan Johnson not able to deliver consistently.
