Salehe Bembury Updates Moncler’s Trailgrip Sneaker in Tonal White Colorway
Moncler’s signature Trailgrip sneaker is getting a second update from footwear designer Salehe Bembury.
Dropping today, Bembury brings his trademark style to a tonal white Trailgrip Amoeba. According to Moncler, the design leans into the outdoor-terrain core of the brand’s flagship technical sneaker, inspired as ever by the shapes, textures, and colors of nature.
Design features of the shoe include distinctive rubber and breathable mesh contours that play with the Trailgrip’s trademark functional features – molded cage, carbon fiber footplate, Vibram Megagrip tread and Ortholite insole.
The new tonal white colorway is part of the upcoming Moncler Ēquipements spring/summer 2025 capsule that includes two other remixed Trailgrips and new Amoeba Utility bags that take design cues from the Italian luxury brand’s mountaineering heritage
Bembury first partnered with Moncler in July 2023 for his debut Genius collection. First teased in November 2022, the capsule included Bembury’s debut ready-to-wear collection, along with footwear and accessories.
“From extensive time spent in the wilderness, I have developed a deep appreciation for nature and the elements that come with it,” Bembury said in a statement at the time. “My goal is to harmoniously balance Moncler DNA with the heritage of the outdoors. This collection embodies a juxtaposition of ethos rarely seen in either environment.”
Known for his attention-grabbing collaborations, Bembury recently launched his fifth original Crocs silhouette, a duck boot that will debut in a colorway aptly named “Mallard.”
Released earlier this month, the Salehe Bembury x Crocs Crypress “Mallard” mashes up the silhouette of a classic duck boot with Bembury’s signature fingerprint motif. Rather than the standard mix of leather and rubber, the upper with two distinct elements appears to make use of canvas and Crocs’ Croslite foam. Army green canvas delineates a clear split from the dark brown foam, and the sole bearing Bembury’s fingerprint tread pattern then arrives in khaki to highlight the boot’s third distinct element.
The tonal white Moncler + Salehe Bembury Trailgrip Amoeba is now available on moncler.com.
