The Bristolian presenter shared a video of the moment her five-year-old son Reggie found out that she was behind the mask.
The moment was captured on camera when they sat down to watch the episode on Boxing Day.
As soon as Josie removed her mask on the ITV show, her son was left gobsmacked and was seen jumping around and screaming.
Josie burst out laughing as she caught his excited reaction.
The TV favourite captioned it: “Apparently, I’m not allowed to prank him again…. Masked Singer, ITV Christmas special.
“I can’t believe who the star is… you absolute hero… and what a voice!“
It comes after Josie teased that she has a new boyfriend after being treated to jewellery from “someone special”.
Josie posted a photo of a gold chain and silver cross pendant.
She also added a heart eyes emoji caption on the post.
Unmasked winner
Frankie Goes To Hollywood singer Holly Johnson won the festive special after they were revealed as the voice of Nutcracker.
It came as Davina McCall came second as she stunned the panel by revealing she was the person hiding in the Star costume.
She managed to fool the panellists, who thought she had sat out the special entirely.
Comedy duo Dawn French and Jennifer Saunders were in as guest panellists instead.
Host Joel Dommett even joked earlier in the episode that Davina had been texting him all day saying she had a bad tummy.
But while Davina played a blinder, it wasn’t enough to beat Holly’s Nutcracker.
“I’ve enjoyed performing, I don’t ever have to do panto now,” Holly said after he was unmasked.
He also made a gag about “cracking Joel’s nuts” after playing the Nutcracker.
Frankie Goes to Hollywood became popular in 1980, with their single Relax – which as banned by the BBC – remaining in the No1 spot for five weeks.
The band was made up of Holly, Paul Rutherford, Mark O’Toole, Brian Nash, and Peter Gill.
As well as Relax, they enjoyed two more No1 hits – Two Tribes and The Power of Love.
Also unveiled on the show was Turkey Crown, who was none other than Strictly judge Motsi Mabuse.
The new series kicks off on Saturday, January 4, 2025 – and was teased with a new character.
Host Joel was surprised as a lookalike character emerged onto the stage in the final moments before the winner was announced.
The doppelganger was known as “Giant Joel” and even recorded a VT in the presenter’s home, alongside his wife Hannah.
But Joel revealed that Giant Joel’s identity will not be revealed until the first episode of the new series.
