Dancing On Ice’s Vanessa Bauer reveals new professional footballer boyfriend ahead of new series
DANCING On Ice star Vanessa Bauer has revealed her new former professional footballer boyfriend.
The 28-year-old dancer will return to screens next month when the new series of Dancing On Ice kicks off
And she’s making the most of her downtime before teaming up with Love Island‘s Chris Taylor.
Vanessa has been in Lapland with new boyfriend James Rowe.
Both she and James, 41, took to Instagram to share loved-up posts from their winter wonderland holiday.
James now works as a football manager but before his retirement played for teams including Needham Market, AFC Sudbury and Canvey Island.
Vanessa split from boyfriend of nine months Dan Underwood in June.
Alongside her romantic post, Vanessa opened up to fans about feeling “the happiest I’ve ever been” but also reflected on her dad’s death in 2021.
She said: “I’ve been emotional lately.
“A pull between feeling the happiest I’ve ever been but the moment I fly home for Christmas a different reality kicks in.
“I believe that the pulls between my upbringing, our families’ loss and the beautiful life I get to live now is not a burden but in a way it can be seen as a blessing.
“And I certainly am grateful for my family and the 25 years I got to know my dad.”
Vanessa previously hinted she could quit Dancing On Ice as she pursues an acting career.
She told The Sun: “My acting pursuit is going really well.
“I’m actually working on a movie right now as well, so I’m super excited for this to come out next year.
“I love Dancing On Ice and I would love to continue doing it for as long as I can but at the same time, other opportunities are piling up and I’m super grateful for everything coming my way right now.”
