FORECAST DISCUSSION:
Good Thursday evening!
Sunshine has finally found it's way back to Central Ohio! Temperatures are on the warming trend for the next couple of days with today reaching close to 50 degrees. Going into the weekend, temperatures and rain chances will really start to pick up.
Clouds will fill back into the area for the overnight hours. That will slow down our cooling process, keeping us in the upper 30s for the start of Friday. Clouds stick around for the start of Friday with temperatures more soundly in the lower 50s by the afternoon.
Rain chances ramp up beginning Friday afternoon. A system will lift in from the south, bringing in a ton of moisture and much warmer air. Rain chances will pick up Friday night, but begin to taper by Saturday.
Saturday looks to be the warmest of the next seven days. The thermometer will hover right around 60 degrees with spotty chances for rain. The system bringing all of this moisture lingers into Sunday, with most of the rain finally pushing out through the end of the weekend. Temperatures remain in the mid to upper 50s for Sunday.
Monday gets a break from the rain with mostly cloudy skies. Temperatures are still warmer than normal, but are gradually getting cooler through the end of the year. Rain returns for New Year's Eve with another system. Spotty chances for rain, gray skies, and temperatures back near normal will be here to ring in 2025.
