Beyonce’s ‘Blackbiird’ Collaborators Go All White in Dolce & Gabbana Dresses and Paris Texas Boots for NFL Christmas Day Halftime Show
Beyonce wasn’t the only one singing on Christmas day. The megastar put on a massive performance at the Houston Texans versus Baltimore Eagles NFL game. For it, she stitched together a medley of songs from her album “Cowboy Carter” featuring the likes of Post Malone, Shaboozey, and even her daughter Blue Ivy Carter. But one lucky crew got a chance to actually harmonize with Beyonce: her “Blackbiird” collaborators, which included Tanner Adell, Tiera Kennedy, Reyna Roberts and Brittney Spencer.
The group of Black female country singers were brought together by Beyonce to provide vocals on her cover of The Beatles’ “Blackbird,” which appears on “Cowboy Carter.” For the pre-recorded clip of the halftime performance , they rejoin the star to add their voices once again. Styled by Shiona Turini, they are dressed as a group, all wearing white Dolce & Gabbana spring 2024 gowns that include lace-up corsets. Beyonce, in contrast, wore an ostrich feather coat from Roberto Cavalli.
For shoes, each of the Blackbiirds wore a pair of white leather boots from Paris Texas. The cowboy boots feature a pointed toe. They also include a chunky block heel of about three inches and a thick single sole. They boots resemble the Paris Texas El Dorado boots but because much of the boot is covered, its unclear.
Beyonce also wore a pair of white cowboy boots for that section. Hers were a pair of white Jeffrey Campbell cowboy boots that feature embroidery going up the neck. Those were mostly unseen under her coat.
After the conclusion of the halftime performance, Beyonce posted a new teaser to Instagram. In it, she is sitting on the back of a white horse waving an American flag. Paris Texas has confirmed on Instagram that she is wearing a custom version of the company’s Paloma style. It is an all white over-the-knee boot. She had previously worn a mid-calf version of the Paloma on the album cover of “Cowboy Carter.”
For the rest of the performance, Beyonce wore a pair of crystal-covered Christian Louboutin boots. Daughter, Blue Ivy, also wore boots but hers came from Akira. As did the boots of the female backup dancers like Ashley Everett. The halftime set marked Everett’s return to Beyonce’s side. After doing multiple tours with Beyonce, the dancer was notably absent during the Renaissance world tour.
