Gayle: The Limbs At The End Were Amazing
“The limbs at the end of the game were amazing” said Dwight Gayle when he spoke after Hibs’ Edinburgh Derby win.
He came off the substitute’s bench and made an immediate impact scoring the winner and silencing the home supporters.
When speaking after the game, he described how the win felt.
“It was an amazing feeling. It was a very hostile atmosphere, warming up I was getting a lot of abuse, so it made it a lot sweeter to celebrate in front of their fans!
“The limbs at the end of the game were amazing to celebrate with the lads in front of the fans.”
The winner was a touch of class, with Gayle guiding a Nicky Cadden cross into the far corner.
He explained the goal was exactly what he’s been working on with the wingers.
“We have great crossers of the ball, and I always speak to them about the kind of ball I want; across the front because it gives me more of an opportunity to get on the end of it than a looped ball.
“Nicky has made some great crosses. I haven’t scored as many as I’d like to but thankfully that went in today.”
