Florida woman arrested after allegedly breaking in, stabbing person over pizza delivery tip
KISSIMMEE, Fla. (WFLA) – A 22-year-old woman from Florida was arrested on Monday after allegedly breaking into a motel and stabbing someone over a tip she received while delivering pizza, the Osceola County Sheriff's Office said.
Deputies responded to reports of a home invasion and stabbing at the Riviera Motel located in Kissimmee on Sunday. Upon arrival, deputies found a victim with multiple stab wounds, according to the sheriff's office.
The victim was transported to the hospital, and is currently in stable condition
During their investigation, detectives discovered that the victim ordered pizza from a local restaurant earlier in the evening. Deputies then determined that the delivery driver, Brianna Alvelo, had returned to the victim's motel with an unknown man, who was armed with a firearm, and forced their way into the motel room.
Alvelo armed with a knife, began attacking one of the victims, allegedly upset about the tip she received during the earlier delivery, deputies said.
In addition to the attack, the suspects took items from the motel room, according to the sheriff's office.
Detectives arrested Alvelo on Monday after obtaining an arrest warrant for the offenses of home invasion with a firearm, attempted murder, kidnapping, and aggravated assault.
Alvelo was booked into the Osceola County Jail and has no bond.
The man who accompanied Alvelo to the motel as not been identified. The OCSO has urged that anyone with information contact the sheriff's office.
