Starting XI’s: Nottingham Forest v Spurs – Rodrigo Bentancur starts
Tottenham Hotspur’s starting line up for the Premier League match against Nottingham Forest has just been announced.
Tottenham are desperate for a win to climb the table
Ange Postecoglou must look to dust off his players and hope they bounce back following Tottenham’s 6-3 defeat to Liverpool in their last Premier League fixture at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Forest, managed by former Spurs manager Nuno Espirito Santo have been something of the surprise package in the top flight this season having found themselves in fourth place in the Premier League table heading into Christmas, while the North Londoners are down in eleventh.
Santo’s side come into the game high on confidence having beaten Manchester United, Aston Villa and Brentford in back-to-back games.
Rodrigo Bentancur returns following the completion of his seven-match domestic suspension following his comments on Spurs captain Heung-min Son, while Destiny Udogie is also fully fit having missed the Carling Cup win over Manchester United and the league defeat to Liverpool with a quad issue.
Number one goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario is still out, while Cristian Romero or Micky van de Ven will not return until next year. Richarlison and Wilson Odobert also remain sidelined.
