She explained that her Greek grandfather taught her the skincare hack when she was badly sunburned as a teenager.
However, over the years she discovered that it didn’t just provide soothing anti-inflammatory qualities it was also ideal for anti-ageing efforts.
According to Vicky, the ingredient is “one of the best things you can do for lines, for acnes scars, for dark circles, for inflammation, for brightening the face, for anti-ageing.”
And the secret ingredient is simply whole fat yoghurt.
So instead of forking over for countless lotions and creams, why not slather on a spoonful and see how it works?
The TikToker recommended applying the food item for “whatever time you can spare.”
She assured her audience that even leaving it on for five minutes at a time two to three times a week will show a noticeable difference in a matter of weeks.
“Trust me, it works unbelievably,” the anti-ageing expert told her followers.
Vicky, who has been told she looks like she is in her 40s, recommended applying yoghurt when you’re listening to music or meditating.
Vicky explained the science behind the DIY skincare tip.
“The lactic acid and the zinc is what actually is so amazing for the skin,” she said.
She explained that anyone who follows her advice will be “amazed” at the results.
Vicky confirmed that either Greek yoghurt or just full-fat natural yoghurt will work for this hack.
