Portland Police ask for public's help finding missing teen
PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — The Portland Police Bureau is asking for the public's help finding an autistic 13-year-old who was last seen Tuesday morning.
The missing teenager, Matthew Godzik, is thought to have left his home near the intersection of Southeast 30th Avenue and Southeast Steele Street in Southeast Portland at 9:30 a.m.
“Matthew has not been seen since and both family and detectives are concerned,” PPB stated in a press release. “Matthew is diagnosed as autistic and likely unable to find his way home.”
Matthew is white, 5 feet, 4 inches tall and weighs 140 pounds. He was last seen wearing a maroon short-sleeve polo, black sweatpants and black sneakers.
