The Pittsburgh Penguins lost defenseman Marcus Pettersson to an undisclosed injury during a loss to the Ottawa Senators on Dec. 14. Now, as of Saturday night, the team can add promising prospect Owen Picking to the injured list, as the 20-year-old also suffered some undisclosed ailment. With that, the Penguins’ defense, especially on the left side, is testing its depth. [Trib Live]
