Mom killed; son, 15, slashed in Brooklyn domestic stabbing: NYPD
CANARSIE, Brooklyn (PIX11) – A mother was killed and her 15-year-old son was injured during a stabbing in Brooklyn just two days before Christmas Eve, according to the NYPD.
It happened on East 81st Street in Canarsie around 9:30 p.m. A 47-year-old woman, identified by authorities as Antoinette Stewart-Gordon, was stabbed in the neck and abdomen, police said.
She was taken to Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center where she was pronounced dead, according to her authorities.
Her son was slashed in the hand, police said.
A suspect hasn't been taken into custody, but authorities said the stabbing was domestic in nature.
