White Christmas Eve possible in NY, NJ
NEW YORK (PIX11) – Cold conditions will stay in place for another day.
Afternoon highs on Monday will only be in the upper 20s to low30s, and winds will make it feel like the teens and single digits early in the day.
The good news is that we will have a lot of sunshine out there as well.
Expect clouds to increase Monday night as a storm system approaches the area. Light snow is likely throughout the morning hours Tuesday.
Most areas in New York City, Long Island, and central and southern New Jersey should see an inch or less.
As for northwest New Jersey, the Hudson Valley, and parts of Connecticut, accumulations of one to three inches are possible.
Conditions will be bright and cold on Christmas Day.
