It is currently based out of MediaCity in Salford, Manchester, after previously calling the city’s Granada Studios home.
Loyal soap fans can even take a tour of the waterside studios on Salford Quays – with cast members often popping up to say hello.
While the majority of the action is based up north, some scenes are filmed off the iconic cobbles, including when Eileen Grimshaw threw Pat Phelan off a cliff.
Even further back in the soap’s history saw some of the cast head to Blackpool – where Rita’s husband Alan Bradley was killed by a tram.
Sally plays the pair’s daughter Jenny – yet she made it clear she is not a fan off heading off-set.
One fan asked her on Instagram Live: “Where would you like to film on location?”
She replied: “We don’t do on location … right … ok so the whole ‘Corrie doesn’t do location any more.’
“Thankfully because I fricking hate being on location – location is s**t – I hate it.
“So I’m glad ITV have got no money – am I allowed to say that?
“Well I have said it.”
She then said: “I always hate …” before tailing off.
The Sun has gone to spokespeople for ITV, Corrie and Sally’s reps for comment.

Sally’s comments came after fears her role had been axed this summer.
Again she uploaded a worrying clip to social media, where she expressed a desire for “happier times.”
The actress – who plays Rovers Return landlady Jenny Connor in the ITV soap – first appeared on the cobbles in 1986.
She stayed until 1991 before leaving and then returning for a short stint in 1993, before making a full-time return in 2015.
Speaking to fans during a late night Instagram live, Sally Ann revealed she hasn’t filmed on the cobbles for a long time – and that fans shouldn’t expect to see her for a long time.
At the time, she said: “I chose to get on an airplane because I’m particularly quiet at work.
“I’ve got like a million years off, so I chose to go on an aeroplane and I chose to remember happier times.”
The star said she has been to Cyprus twice in the past five weeks and added that she is planning to go away again this Saturday.
She continued: “And then I’m going to go back to Cyprus, and do nowt.
“And at some point I might get a job and someone might employ me, potentially.”
Asked by concerned fans if it means she has been axed by new boss Kate Brooks, Sally Ann just made an awkward sound.
The actress, who also appeared in Emmerdale, added: “Have you left the street? Hmm. Hang on, next question.”
