Clear and cool tonight followed by a warmer Sunday
What We’re Tracking
- Warm Sunday
- Mid week rain chances
- Mild for Christmas Eve/Day
Temperatures will fall into the mid 20s tonight. Light winds will remain from the south. We will keep with the clear sky for the overnight hours.
By Sunday, temperatures will rebound into the low 50s with winds picking up from the south at 15-20 mph. Expect plenty of sunshine to finish off the weekend. Sunday will remain mostly clear, though clouds will begin to increase by Sunday night, leading to a mostly cloudy start to the week.
On Monday, we’ll stay mostly cloudy, with rain chances holding off until Tuesday. Rain will begin pushing in from the south during the early hours of Tuesday. Rain tracking along and southeast of I-35 through Christmas Eve night before clearing out just in time for Christmas Day. No significant impacts are expected for holiday travel with this system. Temperatures will remain in the upper 40s for afternoon highs, during the holiday.
There is a possibility we see another chance for rain on Thursday, but we should manage to hold on to the mild temperatures in the upper 40s and lower 50s through the end of the week.
