Midfielder Spurs are favourites to sign addresses speculation over his future
Johnny Cardoso, who Spurs have the option to buy at the end of the season, has now reacted to the ongoing speculation about his future.
Spurs have an option to sign midfielder next summer
As part of the agreement to sell Giovani Lo Celso to Real Betis, Spurs secured a £25m option to sign Betis midfielder Johnny Cardoso at the end of the current campaign.
The 23-year-old won several admires with his solid displays in the base of the Betis midfield, and he is thought to have emerged as a target for a number of clubs across Europe.
It has emerged over recent months that the likes of Atletico Madrid, AC Milan and some other sides are plotting a move for the player in January.

If one of these clubs does make a move for the USA international in the upcoming transfer window, Spurs will have a big decision to make on whether to enter the race.
The North London club’s clause is only valid for next summer, which means that they might have to get into a bidding war to sign the player in January.
Cardoso has now chosen to keep his cards close to his chest, insisting that he is not paying any attention to the speculation over his future.
When asked about the transfer rumours, the midfielder told Estadio Deportivo: “I don’t think about my future at all, because my future is at stake now. I am very happy here at Betis and I want to continue here, playing and helping the team in everything I can.”
Yves Bissouma’s form may convince Spurs to act
Bissouma has failed to take the opportunities that have come his way and the jury is out on whether he is a good fit for Postecoglou‘s system.
In fact, some sources have even claimed that Tottenham are open to accepting any decent offers that come their way for the Mali international.
If Postecoglou is not convinced about the former Brighton star, that might potentially convince the club to push ahead with a move for the Real Betis man.
