Another cold start Saturday before warming up this weekend
What We’re Tracking
- Another cold start Saturday
- Warming up over the weekend
- Mild for Christmas Eve/Day
We're off to another cold start this morning with temperatures in the teens. Luckily, our winds backed off late Friday, so wind chills aren't much colder than our air temperatures.
A gradual warm up is expected through the weekend, with temperatures reaching the low 40s by later this afternoon. Plenty of sunshine will persist and winds will shift to come from the south by Saturday, aiding in the slow warming trend.
By Sunday, highs will rebound into the low 50s as winds pick up from the south at 15-20 mph. Plenty of sunshine is still expected to wrap up the weekend.
A few clouds will build in by Monday, but skies are expected to clear by Christmas Day. Conditions will remain mostly dry, with a slight chance of rain on Tuesday for our Southern counties.
There is a possibility we see another chance for rain on Thursday, but we should manage to hold on to the mild temperatures in the upper 40s and lower 50s through the end of the week.
