Drug dealer caught after he wore three Rolex watches on his wrist
A drug dealer was caught after he was spotted posing for pictures wearing three Rolex watches.
Michael Babalola, from Lewisham, south London, posed with stacks of cash and watches which helped officers prove he was selling drugs.
The 24-year-old was arrested in May last year after police raided his brother Olusegen’s home in Peterborough.
Officers found more than £7,000 worth of heroin and crack cocaine hidden in a tissue box.
They also found weighing scales and mobile phones, including the deal line.
While Olusegen was charged and remanded in prison, there was no strong evidence linking Michael to the drugs in the flat.
But officers discovered evidence of bulk cannabis supply and possession of criminal funds, including cash and Rolex watches, MyLondon reports.
Police have released the incriminating selfies officers found, including photos of him smiling with bank notes and wearing three watches on his wrist.
Michael, of South Road in Lewisham, was jailed for two years and eight months at Peterborough Crown Court.
He plead guilty to being concerned in the supply of cannabis and possession of criminal property.

Detective Constable Olly Campbell said: ‘We are actively targeting those who think it is acceptable to commit crime and supply drugs in Cambridgeshire, including those who travel from other areas of the country.
‘As a result of our investigation into his brother – who is now serving an eight-year prison sentence – we uncovered Michael’s criminality.’
