Hudson man charged, accused of raping girl
HUDSON, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A Hudson man has been arrested for allegedly raping a child. The Hudson Police Department said Michael Davey, 39, was arrested on December 19.
On Thursday, Hudson police were notified by Child Protective Services that a girl was being sexually abused. The girl was reportedly less than 11 years old. After an investigation, Davey was arrested and charged.
Charges
- Six counts of first-degree rape (felony)
- Predatory sexual assault against a child (felony)
Davey was arraigned in Hudson City Court. He was remanded to the Columbia County Jail with no bail and is due back in court on December 24 at 9 a.m.
