Prince William Might Be Making His Most Romantic Move on Kate Middleton After a 'Tough Year'
Prince William and Kate Middleton faced an unimaginable year with her cancer battle, but there seems to be light at the end of the tunnel now. With a strong prognosis toward good health, the Prince of Wales is reportedly ready to sweep his bride off her feet with a romantic gesture.
William has reportedly “set the wheels in motion” to treat Kate to a surprise holiday after such a hard year, according to Closer Weekly, via GB News. “The last year has left them closer than ever. The foundations of their marriage are impregnable, and the hardship of this year has brought making time for one another so very, very important,” an insider divulged. “William is ever the romantic – Kate values their alone time, nothing is more special than having her prince to herself.”
The “romantic getaway” might also include a ceremony “to reaffirm their wedding vows in a private blessing.” The plans might include a spot that is close to their hearts like “Africa and the wildlife reserves.” The insider added, “To have their wedding blessed there after 14 years would be really special.”
The duo formed a “deeper connection” during Kate’s chemotherapy treatment as Willam stepped up to take on more household duties. “Kate would never discuss this publicly, but she finds that the strength William displayed throughout her ordeal has made him more attractive, irresistible even,” a Life & Style source claimed in early December. “It definitely helped them find their spark again.”
The couple’s heat was on full display in the September video they released, updating royal fans on Kate’s health. She had completed her treatment and was looking forward to the future, which included plenty of unexpected PDA from William and Kate — it was pretty steamy from the usually conservative couple. Of course, not everyone was thrilled by their handsy approach.
“I can assure you that Charles and Camilla will not be filmed kissing each other on a beach [as William and Catherine were] until hell freezes over. It’s distinctly un-regal,” sniffed one royal critic to the Daily Mail. But it doesn’t matter to Kate and William because their marriage is stronger after such a scary situation. It will also likely change the focus of their future as they start the early preparations for life on the throne.
