Vandalism found on Voorheesville school campus
VOORHEESVILLE, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Voorheesville Central School District is responding to vandalism found on the middle and high school campus. The district said a racial slur and an offensive symbol were found during a routine check of the campus Tuesday afternoon.
The vandalism was immediately removed. The district said a middle school student was found responsible and will be disciplined based on the school's code of conduct.
School officials encourage any students who see or hear anything concerning to tell an adult. It can also be reported 24/7 to the anonymous safe school helpline at 1-800-418-6423 ext. 359.
