CNN panelists shout over each other as Dem says MAGA has 'no interest in governing'
CNN panelists shouted on Wednesday night during a lively discussion over the GOP's ill-fated spending bill, which was torpedoed by President-elect Donald Trump and his close ally Elon Musk.
During the discussion, Democratic strategist Maria Cardona told the panel on "NewsNight" that Republicans showed they have "no ability to govern" following news that House Speaker Mike Johnson's (R-LA) temporary spending bill, which would've funded the federal government through mid-March — was resoundingly rejected by the incoming administration.
A fed-up Cardona posited that Republicans appear to have "not even an interest in governing."

Her sharp attack sparked an immediate shouting match with her Republican counterparts on the panel, including former congressional candidate Gail Huff Brown (R-NH) and Arthur Aidala, a veteran New York trial attorney.
"Would you rather have a bad bill?" Brown shot back.
"What's bad about this bill?" returned Washington Post columnist Catherine Rampell.
Cardona, repeatedly tapping her finger on the table, insisted she'd rather lawmakers pass the bill as is, noting it had bipartisan support.
As Aidala insisted Trump's making a sound decision leaning on Musk for advice, Rampell let out a deep sigh.
"Elon Musk bought Twitter and basically set $44 billion on fire," that's the first thing.
As she tried to continue, Aidala shouted, "Ok, but he got it to burn! You gotta give him credit for that." And when Rampell tried to posit that Tesla stocks have risen because Americans feel Musk has Trump's ear — and will shape policy that will "enrich" the company, Aidala shouted: "70 percent of electric cars are Tesla!"
Later in the discussion, Cardona continued attacking Musk, noting he wants to blow up the same government that helped him start his own companies.
Cardona and Aidala tried to interrupt each other, with Aidala saying, "You're contradicting yourself though!"
"You're saying he knows how the government works," he said, leading Cardona to clarify that Musk's knowledge only extends to federal contracts.
"That's not government," she retorted.
