Luke Littler makes public plea to Cristiano Ronaldo at BBC SPOTY leaving fans excited
LUKE LITTLER left fans excited after issuing a public plea to Cristiano Ronaldo at the Sports Personality of the Year awards.
The darts superstar was in attendance for last night’s BBC event after being nominated for the top prize.

But his incredible debut season in darts was recognised as he scooped the Young SPOTY trophy.
Littler is now preparing to make his bow at this year’s World Darts Championship.
After finishing runner-up to Luke Humphries in January, Littler is determined to get his hands on the sport’s top prize.
However, there was another pressing on the teenager’s mind last night.
Littler has made no secret of his love for Manchester United.
The ace is a regular visitor to Old Trafford and has even met the current squad at Carrington.
As a result, his idol is none other than Red Devils legend Ronaldo, who won numerous trophies during two spells at the club and now plays in Saudi Arabia with Al-Nassr.
And when asked at SPOTY if he was excited about seeing any of the other big names in attendance, Littler admitted there was just one famous sportsperson he was desperate to meet.
Littler said: “There’s only one person I’d like to meet and that’s Cristiano Ronaldo.”
