Who is Kim Tate’s mystery villain returning to Emmerdale this Christmas? All the suspects from lovers to kids
EMMERDALE will soon reveal a mystery villain this Christmas as the identity of Kim Tate’s foe is unveiled to viewers.
After 35 years as the most ferocious villain in soap history, Kim could finally meet her match when the person scheming against her makes himself known.
Kim Tate is set to meet her most formidable foe this Christmas – but who is it?[/caption]Viewers know someone has been pulling the strings behind her own husband Will Taylor and former business advisor Peter with a plan to leave Kim fighting for her life and fortune.
A source said: “Bosses have pulled out all the stops to keep this reveal as a bombshell for fans.
“Kim’s at her best when she’s got someone to fight against and this is going to test her like nothing else has before.
“It’s going to be a proper festive treat for viewers when the identity is revealed on Christmas Eve.”
The Sun revealed today that they will appear on Christmas Eve – but who could it be?
Ace the Horse
Ace is clearly a mastermind and holding the reins from behind the scenes[/caption]We’re putting nothing past this horse at this stage.
He’s already killed a rapist – and left a trail of destruction in his wake – and this Christmas he’s set to leave Kim unconscious in a field.
Is it really beyond the realms of imagination that Ace is secretly pulling all the strings, having grown tired of receiving orders from Kim for years?
Steve Marchant
Steve Marchant found himself falling for and then being betrayed by Kim[/caption]The last time we saw Steve was in 1999 when Kim did a bunk from the village in a helicopter with millions in stolen cash, while he faced prison for her crimes.
He would most likely to be out now – and thirsty for revenge on the woman who so callously betrayed him.
Not only did she leave him to take the wrap for her crimes, but she went on to build a multi-million pound empire without a second thought for the man she claimed to love.
Actor Paul Opacic recently did a stint in sister soap Corrie so he could definitely be back in the fold…
Jamie Tate
The little vet that roared disappeared abroad three years ago having been so thoroughly corrupted by his mother’s influence that he turned into a monster.
He faked his own death, terrorised his mother-in-law and then took daughter Millie for a new life abroad.
But living abroad and raising a child is expensive – especially as Jamie only emptied the vet surgery’s bank account before faking his own death – so he could be in need of cash.
And who better to topple Mother Tate than her very own demon spawn?
Plus Jamie’s son Thomas is still in the village – and there’s no chance he doesn’t want a relationship with him…
Joe Tate
Joe Tate never actually shared any scenes with stepgrandmother Kim[/caption]The other hunky Tate who disappeared from Emmerdale having narrowly escaped Kim’s murder hit on him in 2018.
Nothing quite says grandmotherly love like ordering your hitman husband to put a bullet in your step-grandson because he fell in love with a Dingle.
Months later it was confirmed that Graham hadn’t actually killed Joe, and instead let him go off for a new life abroad.
However when Kim discovered that little betrayal, she made it clear she would have Joe murdered in much more painful ways should he ever try to return.
So would he be stupid enough to make a comeback?
Caleb Miligan
The stepson Kim never wanted has already tried his best to come at her – twice.
And both times she’s batted him off like an annoying fly, with her thinly veiled indifference to him getting right under his skin.
He’s launched his little international business hub with much fanfare, but that wouldn’t stop him from teaming up with someone else to try and take Home Farm again, would it?
Perhaps his daughter Steph is really back to lend a hand?
Zoe Tate
Now admittedly everyone’s been referring to this villain as a man – but what better disguise for the woman who clashed with Kim constantly back in the 90s?
Zoe was last seen in 2005 casually blowing up Home Farm after she was forced to sell up to the incoming King family.
Kim took her father from her, and her fortune – and eventually tried to kill her nephew and ward Joe Tate.
What’s the betting she wants revenge on Kim? She’s definitely got thee brains to plot it out and take it.
Actress Leah Bracknell, who played Zoe, sadly died in 2019 after a long battle with cancer, so a new actress would need to be cast.
Kim Tate herself
Let’s face it – she’s the original soap superbitch for a reason.
So if anyone could pull off an elaborate scheme against herself just to turn the tables on her cheating, lying husband Will Taylor – it’s Kim Tate.
She did have a fling with Peter so his sudden betrayal seems very suspect otherwise.
But how far will she go to get even with Will after everything he’s done to her?
