The Senate stands in recess until 10:00am on Wednesday, December 18, 2024.
Following Leader remarks, the Senate will resume consideration of the House Message accompanying H.R.5009, National Defense Authorization Act, post-cloture.
At approximately 11:45am, the Senate will vote on the motion to concur in the House amendment to the Senate amendment to H.R.5009, NDAA.
Following disposition of the bill, the Senate will resume consideration of the motion to proceed to Calendar #693, H.R.82, Social Security Fairness Act.
At approximately 2:00pm, the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the motion to proceed to H.R.82.
As a reminder, at a time to be determined by the Majority Leader in consultation with the Republican Leader and notwithstanding Rule XXII, the Chair will lay before the Senate the Message to accompany S.4367, WRDA. The Majority Leader, or his designee, be recognized to make a motion to concur in the House amendment to S.4367. There will be up to an hour of debate equally divided. Upon the use or yielding back of time, the Senate will vote on the motion to concur in the House amendment to S.4367, with 60 affirmative votes required for the motion to concur.
Additional votes are expected during Wednesday’s session.
