'Karate Kid: Legends' Trailer: Ralph Macchio & Jackie Chan Team Up to Train Ben Wang - Watch Now!
The trailer for the new Karate Kid movie has been released!
Sony Pictures has debuted the first trailer for Karate Kid: Legends, which unites multiple generations from the franchise.
Ralph Macchio, star of the original movie trilogy and the Netflix revival series Cobra Kai, is returning to play Daniel LaRusso while Jackie Chan is also reprising his role as Karate teach Mr. Han from the 2010 Karate Kid movie.
Keep reading to find out more…Here’s the synopsis: “In Karate Kid: Legends, after a family tragedy, kung fu prodigy Li Fong (Ben Wang) is uprooted from his home in Beijing and forced to move to New York City with his mother. Li struggles to let go of his past as he tries to fit in with his new classmates, and although he doesn’t want to fight, trouble seems to find him everywhere. When a new friend needs his help, Li enters a karate competition – but his skills alone aren’t enough. Li’s kung fu teacher Mr. Han (Chan) enlists original Karate Kid Daniel LaRusso (Macchio) for help, and Li learns a new way to fight, merging their two styles into one for the ultimate martial arts showdown.”
The movie, directed by Jonathan Entwistle and written by Rob Lieber, also stars Joshua Jackson, Sadie Stanley, Ming-Na Wen, Aramis Knight, and Wyatt Oleff.
Karate Kid: Legends is scheduled to hit theaters on May 30, 2025.
