I’m called selfish for having baby with ‘old man’ hubby after reverse vasectomy -trolls say he’ll be ‘dead in 5 minutes’
A WOMAN has hit back at trolls who have slammed her for having a baby with a man double her age.
When Mindy, 30, first met Larry, 60 she thought that the couple would never be able to have children as Larry had gotten a vasectomy 25 years prior.
The duo met after Mindy had a minor traffic accident, and Larry was the responding officer who took the report for the crash.
They instantly fell in love, and are very happy together, despite their age gap.
“It just felt so natural and lovely, but we definitely didn’t expect it,” she told Love Don’t Judge.
As their relationship progressed, Larry and Mindy began to plan a wedding, which made Mindy realise that she actually did want children.
The pair agreed to try for a baby, and decided to go down the route of IVF.
Mindy is now pregnant with a baby boy, and the couple are over the moon with the news.
Both Mindy and Larry’s families have been supportive of their relationship, however, they have received plenty of criticism online,
Trolls have called the pair selfish and claim that Larry will be “dead in five minutes” and will have “passed away” before he gets a chance to see the child grow up.
Mindy said: “Larry and I have not really talked about the problems of him being an older dad and what that could mean down the road.
“We live in the moment, but we’re not naïve.
“You can die at a young age.”
Larry already has a son, who is 30, the same age as Mindy.
When Larry’s son was growing up, he was often extremely busy with work, so missed out on a lot of key moments in his upbringing.
However, now that he is older, he has more time on his hands, so is keen to be a more hands on father.

The couple are even planning on having a second baby, and say they are “excited” for the “incredible experience” of raising a family together.
